Unlike screen-printing pricing which is based on the number of colors printed on shirt, embroidery is priced based on the number of stitches: the larger the design or more detail the more expensive. To get a quote for your project, select your items from our catalog above and email your logo or design to info@uegraphics.com.
We offer additional price breaks for 12, 24, or 48 pieces. Set up charges start at $45 for left chest or cap design. Discounts available for larger orders.
Set up charges are waived with reorders using the same artwork.
Generally thicker garments such as jackets and sweatshirts work well for embroidery. Thinner garments such as t-shirts and performance wear we usually recommend screen-printing. Other common items include hats, baseball caps, beanies, uniforms, warm-ups, fleece, sweatshirts, sweatpants, sleeves, oxford shirts, patches, scarves, tote bags, cinch bags or drawstring bags, backpacks, towels, infant apparel (with reservations).
Embroidery is the process of decorating a garment with thread, usually with computer operated embroidery machines. A design or logo is first "digitized" - converted into stitches, than imported into the embroidery machine. With thread colors chosen, the design is then stitched onto the garment.
Most popular on nice garments such as jackets, polo shirts and oxfords, embroidery is higher quality method of apparel decorating. Unlike screen-printing which is priced based on ink colors, embroidery can easily incorporate multiple colors. The price of embroidery increases with the number of stitches: the larger or more dense the design, the more expensive it will be to embroider.
Not all logos are easily embroidered. Urban Earth Graphics can advise you on how to best adjust your logo for embroidery, or what steps to take during the initial design process. Very small text, fine lines, shading, and excessive amounts of detail can make for difficult embroidery, resulting in illegible text or poor stitch quality. It also may not be possible to get an exact thread color match. While we do not offer pantone matching with our threads, we can usually get pretty close with over 100 various thread colors currently in stock.
